Spread the joy of education to the underpriviliged children and youth of India by volunteering at Kotak Education Foundation

Kotak Education Foundation was set up with the intention to support children and youth from underprivileged families through different education based interventions and skill- training programmes. It is offering volunteering projects to individuals who can conduct reading practices and help students with difficult words and skit practices.




About

Kotak Education Foundation (KEF) was set up in 2007 with the intention to support children and youth from underprivileged families through different education based interventions and skill- training programmes. KEF takes a holistic and innovative approach to helping the urban poor break free from the vicious cycle of extreme poverty and generational disadvantages. KEF has partnered with 60 schools in Mumbai (M ward area and around)within Mumbai city. Livelihood training is provided at 6 centres (Deonar,Mulund, Goregaon, Mahim, Virar and Andheri E) spread across the poorest neighbourhoods of the city

Conducting reading practices with students
Able to teach and make students understand the meaning of stories and hard words
Practice of skits based on the story
Good English Communication Skills

Timely reporting and feedback
Maintaining confidentiality of the organization data and information collected.


Additional Details

The volunteers will be required to work 2 days a week in between July and March. We expect them to be in Indian formals.
